The SA 335 Grade P5 Alloy Steel Pipe is a low alloy pipe with outstanding mechanical qualities that can withstand high temperatures. Carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulphur, silicon, chromium, and molybdenum are all components of alloy steel P5. The alloy steel P5 pipes have improved corrosion resistance to general corrosive services with good strength thanks to the inclusion of 4% chromium. The pipes have minimum yield and tensile strengths of 205 MPa and 415 MPa, respectively. The nominal bore size of the ASTM A335 P5 Pipe can range from 12 inches to 30 inches, and the wall thickness can reach 20mm. The pipes are extremely strong and oxidation resistant at normal temperature. The nominal bore size of the alloy steel P5 EFW pipes can reach 100 inches. Using electric fusion welding, bigger diameter pipes are possible. The pipes' excellent cost effectiveness, enhanced temperature strength, creep strength, and creep resistance are all a result of the molybdenum and chromium components. The Alloy Steel P5 Chrome Moly Pipe also resists pitting corrosion assaults and is less susceptible to embrittlement.
