IS 1161 ERW Pipe, IS 1161 Grade YST 210 Steel Tubes Manufacturer
Electric resistance welded carbon steel pipe with carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulphur, and silicon in its composition is known as IS 1161 ERW Pipe. The specification includes various grades, including IS 1161 YST 210, 310, and 355. Pipes are individually identified by their respective minimum yield strengths, which are 210 MPa, 310 MPa, and 355 MPa. Different diameters of pipes, both welded and seamless, as well as tubes, are available. For seamless tubes, the IS 1161 Carbon Steel Tubes vary from 3.35mm to 101.6mm, while welded tubes can reach 152mm. The diameter of welded pipes ranges from 5mm to 1219.2mm, whereas the diameter of seamless pipes is from 4mm to 219mm. The IS 1161 YST 22 is also available in heavier pipes, schedules ranging from sch20 to XXS, and wall thicknesses varying from 0.5mm to 20mm. The IS 1161 Grade YST 210 Seamless Pipes are exact in their dimensions and have less absolute roughness. These can be employed in dimensionally sensitive applications as well as in equipment, tools, and instruments. The IS 1161 YST 355 pipes are available with coupling end tryps, bevelled ends, and plain ends. The pipes and tubes might be hydraulic, round, or rectangular. It is not necessary to pre-heat the IS 1161 YST 210 Welded Pipes before welding. Additionally, they do not need heat treatment after welding.
